The 3rd Annual Orlando Chili Cook-Off Continues To Grow 

More chili, more music and more fun allows Events for Change to raise more for charity

Orlando, FL (February  11,  2012) – The 3rdannualOrlandoChiliCook–off presented by RPFunding is gearing up to be the biggest ever! On Saturday March 3rd, over 10,000 chiliheads are expected to descend upon Baldwin Park to have a good time for a great cause. The first two years this event raised over $47, 500 for SpecialOlympicsFlorida. The goal of this year’s event is to raise $50,000 with proceeds going to not only Special Olympics Florida, but also TheWoundedWarriorProject, TheLoneSailorMemorial and AGiftForTeaching.

Bigger and better is what returning attendees can expect at this year’s event! Come enjoy live music on the main stage from great bands like the Legendary JC’s, Shak Nasti,  & Beebs and Her Money Makers! The Orlando Chili Cook-Off is an event the entire family can attend. The Bright House sponsored Kids Zone is enormous plus Mr. Richard will be performing! There will be thousands of free chili samples (while supplies last) and chili cooks from across the country will compete for some serious bragging rights and prizes. This year our People’s Choice Award Winner will be given a $500 American Express Gift Card!

Team RP Funding raised $8,847.08 for Special Olympics Florida through the Polar Plunge.  Robert Palmer, President of RP Funding took the plunge with Kristin Costanzo, a Seminole County Special Olympic Athlete.
